All-new Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 and Streetfighter V4 now in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Alongside introducing the new Diavel V4, Ducati also unveiled the new Panigale V4 SP2 and new Streetfighter V4 in Malaysia yesterday. These newly-launched Ducati bikes are exceptionally impressive and anticipated to raise the bar in the world of high-performance bikes. 

Let’s know the new Ducati models in detail - 

2023 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2

Touted as an Ultimate Racetrack Machine, the all-new Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is specially designed for track riding. It is powered by a 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine derived from MotoGP, which kicks out a maximum power of 215.5 hp at 13,000 rpm. The bike underpins an advanced chassis with an electronically controlled Öhlins NPX 25/30 fork and TTX36 shock with Öhlins Smart EC 2.0.

Adding to the bike’s enhanced performance are lightweight Marchesini Forged Magnesium wheels, STM EVO Dry Clutch, and a Brembo MCS master cylinder. 

In terms of aesthetics, the new Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 boasts a unique "Winter Test" livery teamed up with matte black and carbon-fibre accents, bright red highlights, and Italian flag-inspired wing patterns. Each model is individually numbered marked on the aluminium steering stem.

The Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is priced at RM 299,900 in Malaysia.

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4

The Streetfighter V4 hails from the super sports naked segment and is globally known for its aggressive and minimalist aesthetic. It comes with a front inspired by the Joker of the comic book world, a single-seat configuration, and a restyled ergonomic 16.5-litre tank.

Powering the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 is an updated 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, which is good for making 208 hp at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The four available engine modes are - Full, High, Medium, and Low, allowing riders to customise their riding experience.

The bike also comes equipped with a high-resolution 5" full-TFT colour instrument panel with a virtual circular tachometer, revised graphics, and a special Track Evo display mode for track enthusiasts. Also part of the kit is the latest generation electronic driving aids.

Ducati Malaysia retails the new Streetfighter V4 at RM 141,900.
