520 units of race replica Ducati Panigale V4 S sold in just a few hours

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Ducati won not one but two world championships, the 2022 MotoGP and the 2022 WorldSBK. The band celebrated the catch with two special Ducati Panigale V4 S series models.

Only 260 units of each special edition Ducati were made, all of which are already sold out! Giving the brand another reason to celebrate.

Francesco Milicia, VP of Global Sales & After Sales Ducati said, “2022 has been an incredible year for Ducati both on the track and in the market, confirming the integration and continuous transfer of technology and expertise between production and racing that is unparalleled in the world of motorcycling.

“We thought the best way to share the successes of 2022 with the most passionate Ducatisti was to provide them with exclusive, numbered bikes, individually signed by Pecco (Bagnaia) and Álvaro (Bautista).

“At this time, when our brand is as solid as ever and projected into the future, we also wanted to pay homage to our history, recalling with both replicas the founding of Ducati, which dates back to 1926.”

Powering the special edition models is an aluminum alloy chassis housed in a 1,103 cc V4 engine generating 210 hp and 123 Nm of torque. Also, part of the kit is -

• An STM-EVO dry clutch
• Top-shelf Brembo Style R calipers with carbon fiber cooling ducts
• An Akrapovic exhaust
• A plexiglass windscreen
• Rizoma rear sets
• An array of carbon fiber parts (heat shield, alternator cover, fenders, swingarm cover)

Inspired by the Desmosedici GP and Panigale V4 R, each of the Ducati race replicas costs USD 63,000 which includes a color-matched crate, bespoke cover, and certificate of authenticity are part of the deal.
