2024 Yamaha NVX gets four new striking hues in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The Yamaha NVX is known for its stylish design, advanced features, and dynamic performance, making it a favoured choice among urban commuters and scooter enthusiasts in Malaysia. This popular Japanese scooter is now available in four new stunning colour options for riders to choose from.

The standard version of the scooter is now available in Blue and Bronze while the ABS trim comes in Cyan Sky and Premium Navy.

With the colour upgrade comes a change in the pricing as well. The 2024 Yamaha NVX 155 is priced at RM 9,998 for the standard trim and RM 11,698 for the ABS, representing a slight increase compared to the RM 9,598 and RM 11,498 price tags of the 2023 models. Note, the mentioned prices do not include road tax, insurance, and registration.

At the core of the 2024 Yamaha NVX lies the same tried and tested 155-cc, liquid-cooled SOHC, single-cylinder VVA engine tuned to generate a maximum power of 15.4 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Sending power to the wheels is a V-belt automatic transmission.

The equipment kit of the scooter also remains unchanged as before. It includes -

• LED headlights with Pilot light
• LED tail light
• LCD instrument panel integrated with Yamaha’s Y-Connect system allowing riders to connect their smartphones for monitoring functions such as maintenance timeline, fuel consumption, battery levels, calls, and messages

• USB charging port
• 5.5-litre fuel tank capable of covering approx 200 km on a full tank
• Start and Stop system (ABS trim only)
• 14-inch wheels shod with 110/80-14M/C 53P front and 140/70-14M/C 62P tubeless tyres
• Telescopic front suspension and Swingarm rear suspension (ABS trim exclusively comes with a sub-tank for better stability on uneven roads)
• Single hydraulic disc brake at the front and mechanical drum brake at the rear (in standard version)

The all-new 2024 Yamaha NVX is now available at all authorised Hong Leong Yamaha dealerships across Malaysia with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturer’s warranty and a free disc lock worth RM 100.
