The new Kawasaki All Star centre features the design and construction standards of Kawasaki Plazas in Japan and offers a comprehensive range of the brand’s motorcycles.The new model was launched in conjunction with the inauguration of the company’s second flagship 4S centre, Kawasaki Setapak. Mr. William Ho, Director of Kawasaki Setapak, presided over the ceremony. Known as the Kawasaki All Star, the new centre features the design and construction standards of Kawasaki Plazas in Japan and offers a comprehensive range of the brand’s motorcycles.
Coming back to the new Kawasaki Z900RS "Yellow Ball" Edition, it is a retro motorcycle that made its debut in the home market earlier this year.
The bike is sprayed with a distinctive yellow and black paint job and has a retro-style Kawasaki logo on the tank, a ‘DOHC’ badge on the engine, a leather seat cover, and chrome grab rails. It also features the original Kawasaki Z1 '900' badging on the side covers that pays tribute to the Z1 heritage.
The new Kawasaki bike is powered by a 948-cc Inline-four engine which kicks out a maximum power of 111 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 98.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Also part of the kit are anti-lock brakes and Kawasaki traction control system.
In other news, Modenas has secured a five-star rating from the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) for 11 of its models as part of the Malaysian Motorcycle Assessment Programme (MyMAP). This notable milestone positions the manufacturer with the highest number of 5-star ratings, totalling 13 motorcycles.
"This achievement is significant as it underscores our dedication to promoting safer motorcycles through advanced safety technologies such as the antilock braking system, commonly known as ABS. We are committed to raising consumer awareness about safe riding practices for crash prevention, thereby encouraging informed purchasing decisions," stated Roslan Roskan, CEO.
