2023 Honda CBR150R gets a new colour tone; price increases

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda Malaysia has updated the CBR150R for 2023. The latest iteration of the Japanese sports bike gets a new colour tone, which is Pearl Nightfall Blue. It joins the existing colour palette of the motorcycle comprising Mat Charcoal Grey Metallic and Candy Scintillate Red.

Alongside introducing the new hue, Honda Malaysia has also increased the CBR150R pricing. The bike now retails at RM 13,299 (excluding registration fees and insurance), which is approx RM 800 dearer than the 2022 model year.

No other upgrades are there for the 2023 Honda CBR150R. The bike continues to feature the same styling, engine, and equipment. As a recap, here are the key inclusions -

• The Honda CBR150R is powered by a 150-cc DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill generating a maximum power of 16.09 hp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.7 Nm at 7,000 rpm
• The power is sent to the ground via a six-speed gearbox mated to assist and slipper clutch system and chain final drive
• The bike is kitted with LED lighting all-around and 17-inch wheels shod with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres
• Offering the rider all significant driving-related information is a monochrome LCD instrument panel

• As for suspension, it comes with an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear
• The braking duties are handled by a two-channel anti-lock braking system linked with a single hydraulic disc brake on both axles
• Weighing in at just 139 kg, the CBR150R offers great agility and manoeuvrability, making it easy to navigate through traffic
• The seat height measures 788 mm, which offers a comfortable riding position 

The updated 2023 Honda CBR150R is now available for viewing and purchase at all authorised Boon Siew Honda dealerships across the country.
