2023 Ducati Scrambler bookings open in Malaysia; three variants on offer
KUALA LUMPUR: Ducati has opened bookings for the all-new next-generation Scrambler 800 in Malaysia. The latest iteration of the Ducati iconic model is offered in three variants here - Icon, Nightshift, and Full Throttle, decked up in new styling and more advanced features.

Powering all the three variants is the same 803-cc, Desmodue L-twin engine, which delivers 73 PS of maximum power at 8,250 rpm and 66.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a revised transmission setup with a hydraulic slipper clutch.
The new Scrambler is also 4 kg lighter than the previous generation thanks to redesigned trellis frame and lighter engine internals. It also gets a revised swingarm paired with a shock absorber. Apart from the main frame, the bike also features a separated rear subframe, which makes customisation and crash repair easier.

Exclusive highlights of the 2023 Ducati Scrambler variants -
The Scrambler Full Throttle is the most appealing model of the range, which boasts a race-inspired GP19 Red/Dark Stealth livery with a number #62 badge. The latter pays homage to the original scrambler introduced in 1962. The bike exclusively comes kitted with a quick-shifter, Termignoni exhaust, and red wheel tags. It is only available in red colour.
The new Scrambler Nightshift boasts a cafe-racer styling with low-positioned handlebars, blacked-out spoke wheels, compact LED indicators, side number plates, and minimal front mudguards. It comes sprayed with Nebula Blue colour.
The base-spec Scrambler Icon, on the other hand, benefits from a redesigned tapered seat and lower handlebars. Ducati offers nine colour combinations for this model.
