2019 Vespa Notte edition for Sprint 150 i-Get ABS and GTS Super 300 ABS launched

KUALA LUMPUR: The 2019 Vespa Notte Sprint 150 i-GET ABS and Notte GTS Super 300 ABS have been launched in Malaysia.

In the Italian language, “Notte” stands for ’night’. Hence, both the new scooters get a black paint job. Plus, instead of the chrome garnishes, there are several black elements to entice the “Notte” theme.

The 2019 Vespa Notte Sprint 150’s arms and wing mirrors get a black treatment, and it also has the Vespa “bow tie” at the front. Also, the same is added to the headlight, instrument panel, rear passenger grab rail, and wheels. The Sprint 150 model features LED headlight, along with the DRLs, while the GTS 300 uses a standard halogen unit.

The Notte Edition Sprint 150 is equipped with a 150 cc i-GET engine that is capable of pumping out up to 12.7 hp of power at 7,750 rpm and 12.8 Nm of peak torque, coming at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT transmission and gets the ABS as standard.

The all-new Notte GTS Super 300 gets a 273 cc Quasar single-cylinder engine that is capable of delivering 20.9 hp power at 7,750 rpm and the peak torque sticks at 22 Nm, coming at 5,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a CVT automatic transmission. The dual-channel ABS and an ASR traction control are offered too.

Both the 2019 Vespa Notte Sprint 150 i-Get ABS and Vespa Notte GTS Super 300 ABS will be available at Vespa Malaysia authorised dealerships soon. The former carries a starting price tag of RM 17,000, while the latter would cost you RM 29,000.
