Xpeng X9 arrives in Malaysia; here’s all you need to know

Malaysia's premium MPV segment has just welcomed a new and strong contender in the form of the Xpeng X9. Touted as an ultra-smart 7-seater vehicle, the X9 raises the bar with its groundbreaking innovations in design, intelligence, space, handling, and safety. Bermaz Xpeng Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Xpeng cars in Malaysia, offers the X9 in three variants -

The price includes a 5-year manufacturer warranty (or 120,000 km, whichever comes first) and 5-years free service and maintenance (or 100,000 km, whichever comes first). As for the high-voltage battery pack, customers get an 8-year warranty with a 160,000 km mileage limit.

Exterior

Dubbed as the “Starship of Tomorrow,” the X9 boasts a streamlined silhouette, flowing lines, and a striking "Starship" frame. Its futuristic yet practical design combines sleek aesthetics with hi-tech elements. 

The front has the brand’s signature “Robot Face” incorporating a crystal grille mated to an Active Grille Shutter for improved efficiency. Adding to the MPV’s youthful appearance are horizontal daytime running lights, sharply angled A-pillar, wide side windows, and a floating roof.

The rear end is equally impressive, featuring a continuous taillight bar and a 23˚ coupé-style windshield.

The MPV is 1,785 mm tall, which means enough headroom for all passengers. As far as legroom is concerned, you need not worry as the wheelbase is measured at 3,160 mm. 

The new Xpeng MPV also has a class-leading turning radius of 5.4m, offering exceptional manoeuvrability. The luggage capacity ranges from 755 litres to 2,554 litres, making it suitable for various user needs.
