Xpander remains Malaysia's top non-national MPV in FY2023; Triton holds II spot in pickups

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), has revealed the sales figures for FY 2023 (April 2023 - March 2024). And the numbers are nothing, but impressive. 

The automaker sold a total of 11,384 units of the beloved Xpander during the period, making it the No.1 non-national MPV in Malaysia again. This achievement underscores the vehicle’s strong appeal among Malaysian consumers, who are attracted to its stylish design, agile handling, and overall versatility.

Another Mitsubishi vehicle in Malaysia, the Triton, also performed well and led the sales chart. The pickup truck maintained its position as the second best-selling pick-up truck in Malaysia, with 8,636 units sold in FY23. The popularity of the vehicle highlights its reliability, robust performance, and suitability for a wide range of uses, from daily commuting to tough work environments.
