VW Malaysia launches new campaign & updates

KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrating the Aidilfitri festivities, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia launches the Raya-Raya Campaign. Furthermore, the automaker has introduced updates for the Tiguan Allspace Highline, Tiguan Allspace R-Line, and rolled out Volkswagen Insurance Plan, and Aftersales Raya Campaign.

Let’s now get to know about each in detail, starting with the VWs latest Raya-Raya Campaign -

Under its Raya-Raya Campaign, VW Malaysia is offering its customers a RM 1,000 duit raya rebate on select models. Also, the two Passat models, the Elegance and the R-Line will come with 1-year free insurance and 1-year free petrol, respectively. Further, customers will benefit from an additional RM 3,500 online saving when booking through the company’s online portal, the Volkswagen eShowroom.

Note the VW Malaysia Raya-Raya Campaign will until the end of May, so hurry up.

Coming to model updates, the Tiguan Allspace Highline now comes with several new and exciting inclusions like -

• 18-inch Nizza alloy wheels
• LED taillights with 3D effect
• USB-C charging sockets
• Radio update with voice control

Like the two Passat variants, the Tiguan Allspace Highline will also enjoy RM 1,000 duit raya rebate and RM 3,500 online saving.

Next up, we have the Tiguan Allspace R-Line model that also benefits from several updates, which includes -

• Wireless App-Connect for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• USB C-data & charging port

After the VW Raya-Raya Campaign and model updates, it’s time to discuss the aftersale promotion, the Aftersales Raya Campaign. Under the said campaign, customers sending vehicles for service will enjoy 20 percent off on genuine engine oil. Also, a complimentary car care kit will be available to customers spending a minimum of RM 1,200. This kit includes several car care and maintenance items like wax polish, glass polish, wax shampoo, and leather and plastic care solutions in 50 ml bottles each. Also, complimentary Volkswagen Raya packets are on offer.

Note the Aftersales Raya campaign will last until June 13, 2021. Over and above, customers will also receive 20 percent off on all wiper blades till June 30, 2021.

Coming to the Volkswagen Insurance Plan (VIP), the automaker has announced AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad, as its new insurance partner. In total, VIP now has four partners - Affin, Zurich Takaful General Insurance Berhad, Allianz General Insurance Berhad, and Etiqa General Takaful Berhad.

Being a VIP policyholder calls for several privileges like -

• Prioritised claim approval
• Roadside assistance with 24-hour emergency towing
• Assurance that repair work is conducted at authorised
• Volkswagen body and paint centres that too in accordance to
• Volkswagen repair standards with only genuine parts used
• No excess fees
• No betterment costs
• An agreed insured value for vehicles up to 10 years old.

Note, these benefits are applicable to all VW models irrespective of the car’s age.
