Volvo XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge EVs now available on Volvo ‘Online Sales’ platform

KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo Car Malaysia launched its ‘Online Sales’ platform last year with an aim to sell cars directly to its customers. Now, taking this initiative to the next level, the luxury car maker offers its full Pure Electric Line-up on the said platform. 

That means you can now directly buy the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric and C40 Recharge Pure Electric from Volvo Car Malaysia via the e-commerce platform. It offers full information about the EVs, including their prices, specifications, estimated delivery, etc. Bookings and payments can be made to VCM on its official website www.volvocars.com/my. 

Pricing for the 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge starts at RM 278,888 (on the road, without insurance), while the C40 Recharge retails for RM 288,888.

The customers who register the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric or Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric between May 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023 will be entitled to get a complimentary RM 7,000 wall box voucher and a complimentary first-year Volvo Car Insurance.

Upon upgrading the e-commerce platform, Charles Frump, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia, stated “Since the introduction of our ‘Online Sales’ platform, our customers’ journey to owning a Volvo has dramatically improved through transparency and the stock availability of our cars. As of today, we are offering our full pure electric line-up on the platform and will look to integrate a broader range of Volvo car models into the platform soon.”

The Volvo ‘Online Sales’ platform allows customers to purchase their desired Volvo cars through secure payment methods while offering a secure and hassle-free buying experience. And the said update signifies the company’s intent of strengthening its position as the leading player in the e-luxury segment.
