A couple of days back, BYD announced the “grand launch” of its first electric car in Malaysia, the Atto 3, which will be joined by the e6 on a later date as confirmed by the Chinese automaker. Well, we have talked a lot about the Atto 3, so today, we are going to shed light on BYD’s second EV, which will be Malaysia's first electric MPV.

It promises a pretty impressive range with the help of a regenerative braking system, which is rated at 522 km (on the WLTP cycle). As for the charging, it supports AC as well as DC charging. A 70-kW DC outlet can juice up the EV from 20% to 80% in just 40 minutes with a full charge taking up to 90 minutes.

In terms of performance, the electric vehicle can run from zero to 100 kmph in 18 seconds and attain a top speed of 130 kmph.
