This life-size replica of Perodua Myvi is built from 1.27 million bricks

KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua Myvi, or the King of Malaysian Roads, is dependable, full of surprises, and Malaysians’ favourite. But have you ever thought of seeing a Lego model of this local automotive icon? If yes, here your dream comes true. A group of artists on Facebook named Bryks.Art created a life-size (1:1) replica of a Myvi and amazed all of us. Let’s know this unique Myvi in detail.

• The replica of the Myvi Extreme 1.5 is made from 1.27 million units of bricks
• A team of 15 artists took two months to build this incredible piece of art, with design and engineering taking up 1/3 of the processing time

• The model's exterior and interior are completely built from brick elements, including instrument panel, AC controls, floor pedals, and doors that can be opened. However, a few things which are not made of these Lego-like bricks are wheels, tyres, axles, speakers, mirrors, and light bulbs
• Paying tribute to the hatchback king, the model is called MyBi. It is important to note that this is neither a Lego nor a Perodua product
• The model was on display at level G2 of Publika Shopping Gallery last week.

Started in 2018, Bryks Art conceptualises, designs and creates its structures in-house. Other than MyBi, the group of artists displayed five 1:4 scale model sculptures of the beloved hatch at the show. These include - 

• MyBi Rocket for space travel
• MyBi ATV for off-roading
• MyBi Tractor for farming
• MyBi Tank for military
• MyBi Robot that climbs stairs

The group is not only confined to vehicle modelling as it has completed some more amazing creations that will be put on display in a bigger exhibition, confirmed Bryks.Art.
