This is the Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition

KUALA LUMPUR: Dialing up the luxury factor of its electric hatchback, the EQS, Mercedes-Benz has revealed a limited-edition version. Called the EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition, it features several striking hand-crafted elements that are simply breathtaking.

Currently on sale in the US market, the limited-edition EQS is offered in two grades - EQS 580 4Matic and AMG EQS. Its range skips the entry-level EQS 450+ and EQS 450 4Matic.

Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature Edition: Key highlights

• Hand-stitched interior elements including Nappa leather for the seats, steering wheel, center console, lower dashboard, and door panels
• Seats get microfiber pillows for their headrests
• The Center console gets chrome "Manufaktur" lettering

• Key fob in gloss black or rose gold (for EQS 580 4Matic models)
• Custom paint process for the exterior
• Silicon Gray paint and Mystic Red leather or Rubellite Red Metallic with Deep White leather color combination (EQS 580 4Matic)
• Night Black Magno or Kalahari Gold Magno, both with a Deep
• White leather color combo (for AMG EQS)

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the Mercedes-Benz EQS Manufaktur Signature to be a limited-edition model. The automaker has not confirmed the number of units it will produce, and even the cost is kept under cover.

In case you are wondering what’s with the name, Manufaktur is Mercedes’ personalized division prodigy exterior color and interior trim material choices beyond standard selections. For several years, it was available for the G-Class, the selection now expands to the S-Class, AMG GT 4-Door, and CLS-Class.
