Suzuki Malaysia launches two special Jimny editions - Black and Rainforest

KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Eastern Motors, the official distributor of Suzuki cars in Malaysia, has delighted automotive enthusiasts with the introduction of two special edition models of its iconic Jimny SUV viz. Black Edition and Rainforest Edition. Both models feature unique styling cues that set them apart from the standard Jimny.

The Suzuki Jimny Black Edition stands out with its exclusive black accents and refined detailing, blending modern aesthetics with off-road prowess. It is sprayed with Bluish Black Pearl 3 hue and features a multi-roof rack, carbon finish front grille, and carbon finish spare tyre cover. The cabin benefits from a stylish audio garnish bumper, black grab handle wraps with bright green stitching, carpet floor mats, and two-tone Nappa leather upholstery.

The Suzuki Jimny Rainforest Edition, on the other hand, is inspired by the vibrant hues of nature's lush beauty. Sprayed with Jungle Green colour, this edition features a camouflage-finished front grille, body decals, and mud flaps reminiscent of the rainforest. Inside, we can notice camouflage touches around the rear-view mirror, on the door handle cover, and even on the carpet floor mats.

Both the special edition Suzuki Jimny models are powered by the same 1.5 -litre naturally-aspirated VVT engine found on the standard model. The said engine is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 100 hp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 130 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Sending power to all four wheels is a four-speed automatic gearbox mated to a part-time four-wheel-drive system.

Coming to the pricing, the Jimny Rainforest Edition is priced at RM 168,900 while the Jimny Black Edition retails at RM 171,900 (on-the-road without insurance). Both models are fully imported from Japan and come with a three-year/100,000 km manufacturer’s warranty just like the standard Jimny.
