Rolls Royce showcases a one-off bespoke masterpiece, the Phantom Orbie
Rolls-Royce’s latest build is a one-off Phantom Oribe, designed and developed in collaboration with French luxury manufacturer Hermès. The latest bespoke creation is designed for a Japanese billionaire entrepreneur, art collector, and supercar enthusiast Yusaku Maezawa.
Talking of this special one-off creation, the Phantom Orbie comes wrapped in a special foliage green version.
Talking about the exterior of the car, it gets a two-tone exterior colour to resonate with the cream and green glazes that give you a look at the antique Japanese Oribe ware. While the upper end of the exterior is covered in Oribe Green (a special one-off colour created exclusively for the client).
However, this is not where it ends, the British luxury automaker has also made the exclusively curated paint, sourced for the client’s private jet that this bespoke Phantom will be paired with. On the lower end, the car is covered in cream-white.
Similar to the exterior, the team of designers had decided to continue the seamless flow inside the cabin space as well. The deep green hue gives an equally matching feel to the Japanese Oribe ware. The team of Rolls Royce designers, Hermès designers and craftspeople in Paris were able to give a very personal, one-off look to the Japanese tradition.
Inside, the car showcases the similar Enea Green leather by Hermès. The upholstery inside the one-off cabin, adorns the upper instrument panel, parcel shelf, pillars, as well as the surface that are rarely visible to the naked eye. Such surfaces include luggage compartment lining, glove compartment centre console, champagne cooler and a decanter stowage compartment.
Talking of its majestic offering, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös commented: “This majestic and tasteful Rolls-Royce Phantom demonstrates what is possible when talented people from two of the world’s great houses work closely together alongside a far-sighted, inspirational client like Maezawa-san. It is a meeting of minds, expertise, visions and skill that represents the very best of our respective craftspeople and capabilities.”
