Peugeot 2008 arrives at RM 126,753 with a new brand guardian

KUALA LUMPUR: The new Peugeot 2008 emerges at the heart of the compact SUV segment and completes the Peugeot SUV family range with the recently launched 3008 and 5008. Arriving as locally assembled models in early November 2021, the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 have been very well received by Malaysian SUV buyers with their attractive pricing and features.

The spaciousness of the rear seats (a new record for the new CMP platform) makes the new Peugeot 2008 a particularly versatile SUV.

Its length of 4.30m and its wheelbase of 2.60m also give it a comfortable boot volume until 434 L. The modularity is ensured by a two-position floor (depending on versions) which provides a virtually flat floor once the bench is folded.

With a variety of new storage on board, you will be able to keep everything you need on a daily basis with you. In addition to the traditional door pockets and the glove box, there is ample storage space under the front centre armrest and more in front of the gear stick.

Additionally, there is more discreet storage at the bottom of the central console. There you'll find the very convenient induction charging area and its lid, which in an open position can cleverly hold a smartphone.

The new Peugeot 2008 is locally assembled at the Stellantis manufacturing plant in Gurun, Kedah. All vehicles built at the Stellantis manufacturing plant in Gurun undergo specific endurance and quality testing in Malaysia, to deliver best-in-class performance for the local conditions and to meet the needs of the Malaysian customer.

The new Peugeot 2008 has successfully endured 200,000 kilometres of testing in Malaysia’s diverse climate and environmental landscape.

The colour line-up for the new Peugeot 2008 includes Amazonite Grey, Pearl White, Nera Black, and the model's exclusive colour Orange Fusion, making a total of 4 colours available.

The selling price starts from RM 126,753.00 which is inclusive of the 100 percent Sales Tax Reduction (SST) on CKD models and is valid from now to 30th June 2022.

The new Peugeot 2008 comes with a 3-Years Free Service Maintenance with a mileage limit of 60,000 km, whichever comes first. It also comes with a standard 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty, with a coverage period of up to five years and a mileage limit of 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
