Nissan Thailand celebrates 10th anniversary with sporty Almera Sportech-X

KUALA LUMPUR: The year 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Nissan Thailand and the landmark occasion is celebrated with a special edition version of its top-selling sedan, the Almera. Called the Nissan Almera Sportech-X, it is limited to just 300 units and comes with the regular models' advanced tech, comfort & convenience level, and spaciousness. However, compared to the standard version, this one raises the bar with ultimate premium decor, thus hiking the car’s sporty and performance quotient.

Since its debut 10 years ago, more than 240,000 units have been sold. The success of this dynamic urban sedan is credited to its ability to address every lifestyle while emotionally fulfilling urban consumers' discerning taste and demand for spaciousness, comfort and convenience. In this new version, we have lifted drivers' experience with this distinctive Nissan Almera Sportech-X to a new level."

Design

The Almera Sportech-X is surely an attractive car with eye-catching exterior features. Part of the list is a new glossy black front grille, sportier 16-inch alloys, side sticker with Sportech-X logo, chrome exhaust pipe finisher, and spirited Sportech-X logo on the B-pillar and rear trunk.

Comfort & convenience

Like the exterior, the interior of this special edition Almera is well decorated and comes with a bucket load of features. The car gets “Quole Modure '' premium black sea with burgundy stitches and speaking its identity out is the Sportech-X logo spread all over like on the seats, kicking plate, shift knob base, sport paddles, and floor mats.

The car’s spec sheet includes several amazing features like - ambient light, upgraded infotainment system with NissanConnect (allows smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), navigation system via Google Map, music streaming with Sportify, an 8-inch touchscreen display audio system, Bluetooth, AUX-IN, USB, and intelligent voice command system.

Powertrain

Powering the Almera Sportech-X is a 1.0-litre turbo generating maximum power of 100 hp along with a peak torque of 152 Nm. The drive is sent to the ground via XTRONIC CVT with D-Step Logic transmission that enhances the drive excitement with smooth gear shift and instantaneous acceleration.

Taking care of the limited-edition Nissan Almera Sportech-X is the brand’s very capable 360 degree SAFETY SHIELD tech that includes -

Price

The special 10th anniversary Almera Sportech-X retails for 695,000 Thai baht (approx. RM 87256.81) which includes 3-years or 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first) and 3-year 24-hour roadside assistance service. Also, for a limited period, Nissan is offering free one-year first-class insurance "Nissan Premium Protection", and free service fee for regular maintenance check for 5 years or 70,000 kilometers.
