Nissan Malaysia introduces all-new Serena J Impul

KUALA LUMPUR: The Nissan Serena is one of Malaysia’s best-selling hybrid MPV and now Nissan Malaysia has added more feathers to its cap with the introduction of the Serena J IMPUL.

The all-new Nissan Serena J Impul features premium styling, and is conveniently efficient and safer as well thanks to the Nissan Intelligent Mobility.

For those who aren’t aware, IMPUL, est. in 1980 specializes in the development, production, and sales of high-performance vehicles, bespoke parts, and accessories exclusively for Nissan vehicles.

Design

The Serena J IMPUL benefits from the Premium Highway Star Package and showcases a classy exterior and sportier stance. Part of the exterior kit is -

Powertrain

Powering the MPV is a 2.0-litre CVTC four-cylinder engine supported by an Energy Control electric motor. The total system output stands at 150 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to the wheels via an X-TRONIC CVT with Adaptive Shift Control.

As for its remarkable fuel economy, on a full tank, the MPV can drive for up to 852 km.

Safety

Nissan takes vehicle safety as a priority and so every Serena is equipped with Nissan Intelligent Mobility360° Safety Shield as standard. It offers advanced drive assist functions like - Intelligent Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking. Other features include - Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Around View Monitor (360° cameras), Moving Object Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intelligent Driver Alertness.

The MPV also comes equipped with six airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control System, ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution and Brake Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and Hill Start Assist as standard.
