Nissan celebrates "90th Anniversary" with a special collection in Japan

KUALA LUMPUR: Established on December 26, 1933, Nissan will complete a total of nine decades of automotive legacy in December 2023.  As part of its 90th anniversary celebrations, the Japanese automaker has rolled out a series of commemorative initiatives such as holding a special exhibit at its global headquarters exhibition showcasing its history and technological advancements and refreshing four worlds in the metaverse for fans to explore the brand's legacy.

Nissan has also launched an exclusive "90th Anniversary" collection in Japan, including five models: Nissan Sakura, Nissan Note, Nissan Aura, Nissan Leaf, and Nissan Serena. Let’s know these special “90th Anniversary” models in detail - 

Nissan Sakura 90th Anniversary Model

The special version of Nissan’s electric Kei car features a few cosmetic enhancements such as black door mirrors with copper bars, copper roof side stickers, distinctive 14-inch black aluminium wheels, and a special “90th Anniversary” badging. Inside, the seats are crafted from an exclusive synthetic leather material, called Taylor Fit.

Nissan Note 90th Anniversary Model

The Nissan Note 90th Anniversary edition sets itself apart from the regular model with a copper-coloured front digital V-motion grille, black door mirrors with copper bars, blacked-out 16-inch aluminium wheels, Taylor Fit upholstery with copper stitching, and a special badging.

Nissan Aura 90th Anniversary Model

This hybrid hatchback also benefits from some special notable touches like copper accents on fog lamp finishers and black door mirrors a fresh pair of 17-inch black aluminium wheels and Taylor Fit seats with a splash of copper.

Nissan Leaf 90th Anniversary Model

The special edition Nissan Leaf gains a copper front bumper finisher, black door mirrors with copper stripes, exclusive 17-inch black alloy wheels, and a copper rear bumper finisher. The cabin features 90th Anniversary special Crystal Suede and leatherette Combination seats, with a 90th Anniversary badge.

Nissan Serena 90th Anniversary Model 

With the special Nissan Serena, the customers get a copper grille finisher, black door mirrors with copper stripes, exclusive 16-inch smoke clear alloy wheels, synthetic leather seats with copper stitching, and a 90th Anniversary badge.
