MG Motor Malaysia launches the MG5 - From RM87k, 1.5L N/A

KUALA LUMPUR:  Excitement is in the air as MG Motor Malaysia has finally launched the highly anticipated MG5 sedan. Following an extensive teaser and preview campaign that had everyone buzzing, the MG5 is ready to make its mark in the Malaysian market, entering the competitive C-segment sedan arena.

The MG5 is officially priced at RM93,900 on-the-road excluding insurance. However, early bird customers can take advantage of a special introductory rebate of RM7,000, bringing the price down to an attractive RM86,900.

This rebate makes the MG5 a highly competitive option in the C-segment sedan market, offering great value for its array of features.

The MG5 is designed to turn heads with its sporty fastback silhouette. Measuring 4,675 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width, and featuring a 2,680 mm wheelbase, the MG5 offers dimensions that make it slightly larger than the Proton S70, positioning it as a strong contender within its segment.

Under the hood, the MG5 packs a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that churns out 114 PS and 150 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm.
