Mercedes Planing to Introduce 5 New Models in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR : Mercedes recently held a media briefing, in order to announce the stupendous sales figures, the brand has recorded in Malaysia. Along with the above mentioned proclamation, Mark Raine, Vice President of Passenger Cars Sales and Marketing at MBM (Mercedes Benz Malaysia), claimed that the company is planning to introduce several new models in the Country, which they categorized as 'Mercedes-Benz Dream Cars'.
The only model that is apparent to make a debut is the C 63 AMG, but various media houses have captured image of a slide, which is believed to depict the models that are speculated to be launched. Raine also claimed that the automaker will introduce more AMG variants as well. The S-Class Coupe and the CLS 63 AMG are the most probable products that will be introduced in Mercede's lineup.
But after the aforementioned slide went viral, various diverse guesses have started flowing as to which models the company might launch. Mercedes-AMG GT, the base model of the GT, is the only variant that is clearly visible in the slide. Given that the AMG GT S is already retailing at RM 1.2 Million, a launch of the non-S variant will easily make Mercedes' supercar more affordable to the Malaysians.
The slide also has 5 other models under the GT, which have been blurred to disguise their identity. But Raine has confirmed one of them as – the Mercedes-AMG C 63. Another model that can be speculated from the image is an AMG line variant, as is apparent from the shape of headlamps, and looks similar to a W212 E-Class.
