    2,865 mm

Compared to the C-Class and E-Class coupe, the new CLE showcases a lengthier and lower sight.

    Design

The new Mercedes-Benz CLE is undoubtedly an attractive car with several attention-drawing elements. For instance, at the front, the coupe gives an uncanny resemblance to the CLA with similar headlights that utilize the brand’s Digital Light tech.

One striking design characteristic is however the introduction of the B-Pillar. The E-Class coupe didn’t feature on and thus showcased the much-loved signature look of the car. But the C-Class featured the B-Pillar which many took with a grain of salt.

Other exterior design bits include 18 to 20 inches wheels with varying designs, 19-inch wheels (in AMG-Line CLE), a new set of tail lights with two-part LED light, new contours, and three-dimensional bodies.

    Interior

The all-new CLE showcases a welcoming cabin that comes fitted with best-in-class materials and equipment. Part of the extended list is a large portrait head unit and prominent center console. The former comes with the latest version of MBUX and comes installed with several entertainment/streaming platforms.

    Powertrain

When launched the CLE will be offered in five engine options, all integrated with 48V mild hybrid systems with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). As for the engine options, the CLE 450 4MATIC will get a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six unit making 381 hp and 500 Nm of torque. All the other variants, on the other hand, will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine (with varying outputs with respect to variant) or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.

As for plug-in hybrid options, it is still under work.
