Meet Toyota Land Cruiser’s lux version, the 2022 Lexus LX 600
KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota introduced the all-new Land Cruiser in June this year, which is not destined for the U.S. market sooner or later. However, the brand’s luxury arm Lexus recently unveiled the revamped version of its LX SUV which although features different exterior and interior styling but gets the same hardware underneath. And thus, offering the States an upscale alternative to the 300-series LC.
What does the 2022 Lexus LX 600 have on offer? Let’s know.
Dubbed as the brand’s “ultimate sport-utility flagship,” the new LX is a totally redesigned vehicle, inside and out. The exterior gets a prominent spindle grille on the front which consists of seven stripes with hollow sections for better engine cooling. Larger air intakes and slimmer LED headlights integrated with 3D daytime running lights and turn indicators are the other main inclusions on the front end.
At the rear, the LX facelift version features sleek, wrap-around LED tail lights, a new “Lexus” badge, a new bumper and a new roof spoiler. The SUV rides on alloy wheels with a size ranging from 18- to 22-inch.

Compared to the V8, the new engine delivers 26 PS extra power and 103 Nm extra torque. Lexus has also ditched the eight-speed gearbox in favor of a new ten-speed automatic transmission, which offers “a smooth start and powerful low-speed off-road driving performance.” with a low first gear
