Meet the striking, paint-splattered Maserati Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie

KUALA LUMPUR: At the 2021 Motor Valley Fest, Maserati along with the world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura presented the amazing looking Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie model.

Before exploring this kaleidoscopic Levante, first, get to dig a little on Massimo Bottura's whereabouts. As mentioned, Bottura is a world-class chef with three-Michelin-star to his credit. Though food and culinary art has always been his first love, Buttura who was born and raised in Modena, near Motor Valley, has many times experienced race tracks in the Emilian countryside. It was back then he developed an interest in racing and world-class high-speed cars, which in turn landed him up with a collaboration with the luxury automaker, Maserati. The partnership between the two experts began back in 2005.

Maserati CEO, Reid Bigland on the company’s website said, “Massimo has shown true genius in expressing a modern or even futuristic vision of this tradition in every flavour, without ever betraying its origins.” He further added that “All this is very close to the Maserati tradition of designing, developing and building cars here in Italy that can excite and delight their drivers all over the world.”

Maserati’s first SUV, the Levante, is the base vehicle for the automaker and Bottura’s latest custom creation. As is clear for the name, Levante’s range-topping Trofeo trim is put to use and it is powered by a 580hp VB powerplant.

Elevating the special edition Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie appearance is the Blu Stradale exterior hue with multi-coloured splashes of paint across the hood and wheel arches.

Overall, the Maserati Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie is described as “a garment, to be worn proudly on the world’s roads in a gesture of self-expression, and as a symbol of the concept of contemporary luxury.”

Furthermore, the Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie is a by-product of the automaker’s extensive customisation package wherein it offers several personalised features under three kits - Futura, Corse, and Unica. Each allowing the customer to pick a new exterior hue and liveries, brake callipers and wheel paint, cabin layouts and specific interior combo with several stitching tones.

Not to forget, the customers can even opt for the ‘Sartoria’ treatment for the Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie. This one features the automaker’s most bespoke layouts and constructions.
