Meet Mercedes-Benz’s new EQ model, the EQE SUV
KUALA LUMPUR: Expanding Mercedes-Benz's fast-growing luxury EV segment is the all-new EQE SUV, which is known to be the electric alternative to the GLE. After the EQS sedan, EQE sedan, and EQS SUV, this is the fourth EQ model based on the brand's dedicated new EV platform. Set to hit the roads next year, the EV will initially come in three different trims, followed by the high-performance AMG model in 2024.

Exterior
Starting with the exterior, the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQE looks almost identical to its sedan sibling with a black panel front grille and 3D Mercedes-Benz pattern. The lighting units are LED High Performance as standard that can also be upgraded to a Digital Light system. These are integrated with daytime running lights and a light bar. Accentuating the EV’s rear look is an integrated spoiler and illuminated 3D tail lights featuring a helix design.
The SUV has a low drag coefficient of 0.25 thanks to various air channels positioned on the front apron, clean side surfaces, aero wheels and flush-fitting door handles.
Dimensionally, the EQE SUV measures 4,863 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width, 1,686 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 3,030 mm.

Talking about the charging time, the battery takes 9.5 hours for a full charge when using a 32-amp wall box. However, the time can be reduced to as low as 32 minutes (0-80% SoC) with the help of a 170 kW DC fast charger.
