Interior upgrades
Inspired by the Mazda CX-80 Homura, the CX-60 Homura variant interior now features black Nappa leather seats and a revised dashboard panel. The roof and pillars of the cabin now boast a black lining, while cabin panels benefit from a matt black and metal-like finish.
The top-spec Takumi version, however, retains the same interior design with premium materials like real maple wood, Japanese textiles, and Nappa leather.
Technical updates
Under the skin, the Mazda CX-60 received an important upgrade in the form of a revised rear suspension setup. It features softer rear springs, firmer shock absorbers, and recalibrated stability systems, offering better handling and ride comfort. The re-tuned suspension aligns with the brand’s "Jinba Ittai" philosophy (driver and car in harmony).
The Mazda CX-60 powertrain options remain unchanged as earlier, including
- A 3.3-litre inline-six turbocharged mild hybrid engine producing 280 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
- A 3.3-litre turbocharged diesel option that churns out 250 hp and 550 Nm of torque
- A 2.5-litre plug-in hybrid engine generating a total output of 323 hp and 500 Nm
New colour scheme
Mazda has also expanded the CX-60 colour palette with the addition of a new Zircon Sand metallic paint option. The newly added hue is already available on other Mazda models like the CX-30 and MX-30.
“The CX-60 offers a unique combination of value and desirable features in the premium SUV sector. Its enhanced attributes make it an attractive and compelling choice for customers seeking a high-class SUV,” says Mazda.
The 2025 Mazda CX-60 will arrive in the UK in the early summer of 2025.
