The Chery Tiggo 4 has recently received a five-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP). It is to be noted that the SUV has not been crash-tested by the agency, rather the results are based on testing of its partner model, the Tiggo 7 Pro, which was tested and rated in late 2023.

However, ANCAP conducted some additional tests such as autonomous emergency braking and lane support, and revealed technical details to confirm that the test results of the Tiggo 7 Pro also apply to the Tiggo 4 Pro.
