Lamborghini to introduce new V10-powered model on Nov 18

KUALA LUMPUR: Lamborghini recently dropped a teaser announcing the arrival of a new car on November 18th. The automaker has not revealed any additional information with only the front profile of the upcoming car with headlights on, in the dark and covered, visible. Two phrases, however, caught our attention - “based on a true story” and “from racetrack to the road.”

From the latter statement, the upcoming car appears to be a motorsport vehicle, with the ventilated hood visible in the teaser looks like the one seen in Huracan GT3 Evo race car. Also visible from the cover are Huracan-like LED DRLs along with the prominent rear wing.

As per reports, the upcoming model would be named Huracan Evo STO and the same has been confirmed by the URL on automaker's Facebook post. The car is further expected to weigh less than the ongoing Huracan Evo. And is expected to feature significant aero and power enhancements.

The ongoing Lamborghini Huracan Evo is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 naturally-aspirated mill making a maximum power of 640 PS along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. The said mill is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive. It goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 325 kmph. Impressive, isn't it?

Well, Lamborghini is known and expected to create new things even better than the existing units. Details about the upcoming car will be revealed soon.
