Lamborghini donates a Huracan Evo to Bologna airport

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you read it just right. The luxurious carmaker, Lamborghini has donated a Huracan Evo supercar to Bologna airport, where it will be a 'follow me' car.

Lamborghini and the Bologna airport recently renewed their partnership. And it is under this collaboration that the former has provided the latter with a Huracan Evo. Also, Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters is located just 16 miles away from the airport.

Is there anything special about the donated Lamborghini Huracan Evo 'follow me' car?

Well, yes. This particular Huracan Evo gets a special livery, by automaker's Centro Stile design wing. The car is finished in Verde Turbine Matte Green hue with striking chequered Arancione Matte Orange graphics, which makes it in line with the other ground support vehicles at the Bologna airport.

Furthermore, it has been imprinted with the 'Follow Me in our beautiful country' message.

In terms of security, which is essential for any vehicle at an airport or otherwise, the Huracan Evo comes equipped with warning lights and a radio.

What powers the Huracan Evo 'Follow Me' car?

The Lamborghini Huracan Evo 'Follow Me' car draws power from a naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine that makes a maximum power of 640 bhp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

In terms of performance, the Huracan Evo 'Follow Me' car with the given engine setup can complete the century sprint in just 2.9 seconds and can attain a top speed of 325 kmph.
