Kia Carnival Fuel-on-Us Campaign: 5 Years of fuel savings for new owners in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR:  Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd, Kia’s sole distributor in Malaysia, has launched a new "Fuel-on-Us" campaign for buyers of the Kia Carnival.

This campaign, which runs from October 1 to December 31, 2024, offers a unique perk: subsidised fuel for the next five years for all new Carnival owners who purchase and register their vehicle during this period.

For those in the market for a fuel-efficient large MPV, the Kia Carnival presents a compelling offer. The Carnival is powered by a 2.2L turbo diesel engine, which is known for its excellent fuel economy.

With an average consumption of just 6.5L/100 km and a 72-litre fuel tank, it’s capable of traveling up to 850 km on a full tank. When compared to a 2.5L petrol engine, the Carnival's fuel consumption is about 35% more efficient, translating into significant savings over time.

The "Fuel-on-Us" campaign extends these savings even further. Kia is offering new Carnival owners a fuel subsidy of RM1.05 per litre of diesel, regardless of fluctuations in fuel prices.

This discount applies every time they refuel, providing an opportunity for ongoing fuel savings over a five-year period. 

This three-month-long campaign is available for any variant of the Kia Carnival registered with authorised Kia dealers. To be eligible, customers need to register their new Carnival during the campaign window, and each purchase is limited to one application for the fuel subsidy program.

The Kia Carnival available in Malaysia comes in three different seating configurations: 11-seater, 8-seater, and 7-seater variants, all powered by the same Smartstream 2.2L Turbo CRDi diesel engine.

The engine delivers 199 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system, offering strong performance with fuel efficiency.

Each variant boasts advanced features and premium comfort. The 11-seater model caters to large families or businesses needing maximum seating capacity, while the 7-seater high-spec variant includes luxurious features such as premium relaxation seats with long and lateral sliding, ventilation, and heating for front-row seats.

The 8-seater option provides a balance between seating capacity and higher-end comfort features.

In terms of safety, all models are equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including multiple airbags (front, side, curtain, and driver’s knee), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like Lane Keeping Assist and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. 

The infotainment setup includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, though Android Auto’s functionality will be available once the service officially launches in Malaysia.
