Jetour Dashing coming soon to Malaysia: Here’s what to expect

KUALA LUMPUR: For those who aren’t aware, Jetour is an auto brand under the famous Chinese Chery Group and it is now planning to enter the Malaysian market.

Yes, Jetour will enter Malaysia in the second half of 2024 with its five-seater SUV, the Dashing. Aimed to challenge the likes of Proton X70, upon launch the Jetour Dashing will be offered two variant options - Prime and Signature.

Planned to be offered as locally-assembled units, after gaining eyeballs in China, the Dashings is all set to win Malaysian consumers with its stylish design, modern tech, and competitive pricing.

Upcoming Jetour Dashing: What to expect

Exterior

The Jetour Dashing stands out with its bold, futuristic design. At the front, the car features an aggressive grille, paired with sharp LED headlights and distinctive daytime running lights (DRLs), giving it a sporty, modern appearance.

The side profile showcases sleek lines, massive wheel arches, and a smooth roofline, together presenting it as a complete package capable of competing with the existing biggies.

The rear end showcases full-width taillights, a sporty bumper, and an edgy windshield. This design language is not just limited to aesthetics but contributes to aerodynamics, thus enhancing the car’s performance and mileage.

Interior

Open the doors and you will be greeted with a minimalist yet functional design, all working together to offer a premium experience. Jetour has equipped the Dashing with a comprehensive suite of safety features, allowing it to compete with more established brands.

Further, the top-spec Signature variant is expected to feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as Lane Departure Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Once launched the Jetour Dashing will give stiff competition to the likes of the Proton X70 and Honda HR-V.
