Here's the Bentley Mulliner Design team very purple 1000th project

KUALA LUMPUR: The Mulliner Design team was set up by Bentley seven years ago, and now we hear that the dedicated wing is celebrating its 1000th bespoke commission.

This particular bespoke car is for a European buyer who asked for two specific cabin features - the application of Olive Ash to Bentayga's cabin, it is a veneer associated with Mulsanne heritage. His second demand was of a contrast twin switch to the door trims and seat headrest.

Wanna know about the first Mulliner project? Curated in 2014, it was a 15 unit limited Flying Spur Serenity that focused on enhancing passenger comfort levels. The car featured re-designed seats and headrests along with unique diamond quilting throughout the cabin. The ongoing Continental GT Mulliner also features this unique textured leather design.

From 2014 to date, the Bentley Mulliner design team has worked on 1000 projects that included personalized, bespoke treadplates, unique & Coachbuilt projects, regional & global commissions, limited series, and even race cars.

The Mulliner specialist team is itself part of the automaker's design department and consists of world-class designers and digital artists. Together they create impeccable designs and they even have the ability to form photo-realistic renderings of customers' designs before the order is placed at the workshop.

The Mulliner design team has allowed for deeper integration of core Bentley design DNA into its products while enabling customers freely to request inclusions.
