GWM revealed three cars in Malaysia; Haval H6, Cannon, and Haval Jolion

KUALA LUMPUR: At the recently concluded Malaysia Autoshow 2023, GWM (the brand behind Ora Good Cat) took a step further to unveil three highly anticipated models, namely the Haval H6, Haval Jolion, and GWM Cannon.

Part of the brand's Intelligent New Energy Vehicles, all three come equipped with innovative technology and outstanding craftsmanship.

Let us now discuss the three upcoming GWM cars in detail -

GWM Haval H6

The Haval H6 is one of the most-liked SUVs in China with it being the best-selling vehicle for 100 consecutive months.

The model showcased at the show was a hybrid variant indicated by the ‘HEV’ badge on the tailgate. Powering the car is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol mill generating 167 PS and 285 Nm. Joining the setup is an e-motor (177 PS), the total system output rests at 243 PS and 530 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Some of its key inclusions are - LED headlights, full-width LED tail lights, 19-inch wheels, a powered tailgate, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a powered front seat, a wireless charger, a powered sunroof, an automatic air-con system with rear vents, and radar sensor at the front.

Haval Jolion

In addition to the Haval H6, GWM also previewed the Haval Jolion in Malaysia. The B-segment SUV was introduced in hybrid form like its sibling.

Powering the Haval Jolion is a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol unit making a maximum power output of 95 PS at 6,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 125 Nm from 4,400 to 5,200 rpm. The electric motor chips in 156 PS and 250 Nm. The drive is sent to the front wheel via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Part of the Haval Jolion setup is several advanced bits like LED headlights with DRLs, 18-inch alloys, LED tail lights, a sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electronic parking brake, an automatic air-conditioning, and front radar sensor.

GWM Cannon

The Cannon is a well-known pickup truck globally which is known for its rugged exterior, refined cabin, amazing performance, and much more.

Powering the pickup is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Making the deal more impressive is the Level 2 autonomous driving system that can handle pretty much anything on the road.
