Leading Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall Motors (GWM) is aggressively pursuing foreign markets and has introduced the Cannon pickup truck in Malaysia. The vehicle has already attracted a sizeable following in Australia and other countries. The pickup gets heated front seats, wireless phone charging, faux-leather upholstery, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, three selectable power-assist steering modes, a 360-degree camera, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The car runs on 18-inch alloy wheels. It’s equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 161PS/400Nm. The motor is mated to an 8-speed automatic. The price of the 2025 GWM Cannon starts at RM 118,000.
