GAC dealership now open in Cyberjaya, GS3 Emzoom available for test drive

KUALA LUMPUR: Evo Cartech Sdn. Bhd. has launched its new dealership for GAC vehicles in Cyberjaya, marked by the opening of a 4,434-square-foot showroom in the city's downtown area. This new facility is part of the GAC Motor dealership network in Malaysia, featuring the latest models, starting with the compact SUV GAC GS3 Emzoom, now available for public viewing and test drives.

Ng Tian Poh, director of Evolution Autotech Sdn. Bhd, the parent company of Evo Cartech, shared insights about the new dealership at the opening event. "We are the new kid on the block in the automotive industry and we are grateful and honoured to have the support of distributors like WTC Automotif to hold our hands as we begin our automotive venture this year,” he remarked.

Evo Cartech is a subsidiary of Evolution Autotech Sdn. Bhd., which also recently launched Evo Mobility, a Nissan dealership, in Autoville Cyberjaya. Ng highlighted the significance of their location choice, noting that Cyberjaya, developed in 1997 as an IT hub, has grown into a major global technology center. With over 140,000 residents currently, the population is projected to reach 350,000 by 2039.

Ng emphasized the company's readiness to meet the automotive needs of Cyberjaya's residents and professionals. “With GAC Motor, Evo Cartech is poised to provide the automotive needs of the residential and working population here in Cyberjaya,” he said.

The newly unveiled GAC GS3 Emzoom, distributed by WTC Automotif (M) Sdn. Bhd, is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque. This model combines bold aesthetics with advanced technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay and a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety.

The compact SUV is available in two variants: the GS3 Emzoom Exclusive and the GS3 Emzoom Premium R. Both variants are powered by the mentioned 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that produces 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque.

The main difference between the two trims lies in their features. The GS3 Emzoom Premium R includes the R Style Sport Package and R-Style Sport Exhaust with valve control, giving it a more dynamic appearance. It also offers additional interior features such as automatic climate control, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, multi-color ambient lighting, a wireless smartphone charger, a hands-free power tailgate, Fusion Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA), and a panoramic sunroof.

The GS3 Emzoom Exclusive is priced at RM118,900, while the Premium R is available for RM128,900. Both models come fully imported (CBU).
