Stellantis also announced its plans to become an “extraordinary place to work” along with being the “industry champion for climate change mitigation”.We have no details about the all-electric Jeep other than a couple of teaser images. The upcoming e-Jeep is likely to be based on the company’s CMP platform that also underpins the Peugeot e-2008 and the Vauxhall Mokka-e. Both these cars come equipped with 50kWh batteries and showcase a range of around 322 km.
In the company’s concentrated line-up, the new all-electric Jeep will fit between the Compass and Renegade. It is the latest addition to a string of zero-emission that will form the backbone of the Stellantis CEO’s ambitious new plans.
As for other brands under Stellantis wings like Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot, and Vauxhall, they have already released electric models, as for Jeep it only has the PHEV version of the Renegade and Compass. As for the iconic Jeep Wrangler, it has so far resisted any form of electrification.
At an event in Amsterdam, Tavares announced that the company will move towards 100 percent EV sales by the end of 2029, with 75 BEV models to go on sale by the end of the decade.
At the same event, Stellantis also announced its plans to become an “extraordinary place to work” along with being the “industry champion for climate change mitigation”.
Big things for Stellantis in the future, we wish the brand best of luck for all its future endeavors.
