KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of MG cars in Malaysia, SAIC Motor Malaysia, has officially announced the appointment of Emory QiFeng as its new managing director. This strategic leadership change is set to enhance the company’s focus on expanding the presence of the MG brand in the country.

    Emory QiFeng is ready to oversee the sales, marketing, and product strategy of the brand in Malaysia with his 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has held several leadership roles at SAIC-Volkswagen Sales Co Ltd, where he focused on network planning, development, and after-sales strategies. In 2023, he became the director of global business at SAIC Motor International and helped in strengthening the brand's presence worldwide. 

    In 2024, he took the Chief Operating Officer position at SAIC Motor Malaysia and contributed to the company's growth in the local market.
