DMM 204 Speedster's Perodua Myvi S1K all set for 2023 Sepang 1000KM race

KUALA LUMPUR: The motorsport enthusiasts who attended the 2023 International Automodified & Malaysia International Motor Expo at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, were treated to the 2023 Myvi S1K's first look. The event introduced a new race team and gave a glimpse into the Perodua Myvi S1K's fresh race livery. Some sponsor announcements were also made along with these exciting revelations at the event. 

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MARii, Ts. Nizmar bin Mohd Nazar unveiled Myvi S1K's new race livery. It exudes a stylish design, featuring Red True Blood and Ocean Green colours. This testifies to the commitment of the Myvi S1K team to solidify their presence in the motorsport arena and reinforce their status as the only Perodua Myvi to participate in the Sepang 1,000KM Race.

The Perodua Myvi proved its worth by finishing the Sepang 1000KM race on its debut. In the SP2V category, it achieved a P10 class finish. Now, it is returning for its second year as the DMM 204 Speedster with new sponsors and drivers. Principal Datuk Dr. Zahari Husin will lead the team and help them prepare for an enthralling racing season.

Few changes have been made to the DMM 204 Speedster racing team for the 2023 season. Faiz Sulaiman will take the lead as the driver, Shafiq Rosli will be the Race Director and Fariqe Hairuman will be the Race Technical Director. Aiman Haziq and Ashraff Dewal have also joined the team as new drivers. The team has an impressive lineup of partners and sponsors, aiming to repeat Perodua Myvi's success in the previous year's endurance race.
