Daihatsu offers three styling packages for Rocky
KUALA LUMPUR: Daihatsu has already initiated the sale process of Rocky in Japan, where the car comes with a starting price tag of 1.55 million Yen, which is equivalent to RM 59k. It is a lightweight SUV with a mere weight of 980 kg. The car is 1,620 mm tall, 3,995 mm long, 1,695 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,525mm.
With a range of advanced technology and equipment, the brand has also offered three amazing exterior styling packages for Rocky. Buyers can choose an option from packages such as Powerful, Sporty or Elegant.
In the Powerful package, Rocky get to be dressed in a sturdy looking bodykit with some fake skid plates. The customers have the option to add a black plastic bonnet trim, cargo box, roof racks and blue LED DRLs along with twin-five spoke 16-inch wheels. They can either get the wheels in gloss black finish or a matte finish. The cost of this package in its home market is 170,000 Yen which becomes RM 6.5K in Malaysian currency.
The Rocky Sporty package comes with four stick-on parts like side skirts, front lip, rear lip and a raised rear spoiler. The cost of the Sporty package is 200,00 Yen which becomes RM 7.6K in Malaysian currency. On choosing the package, the customer can avail a discount of 10%, which can be also availed with the other two packages.
Finally comes the Rocky Elegant package which is comprised of five chromed items namely, front lip, rear lip, side skirts, tailgate trim and radiator grille. The cost of this package is 260,000 Yen in home market which is RM 9.9K in Malaysia.
The customers can also include additional chrome door mouldings, fender trim, side mirror caps, front and rear fog lamp accents and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels to give it a more premium look.
Along with that Daihatsu also offers other range of accessories like fancy LED lights, door handle guards, carpeted floor mats, steering wheel covers, sill plates, under-seat tray and many more. Moreover, all the accessories come with a three-year warranty.
