Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max SUV arrives in UAE; is Malaysia next?

The upgraded Tiggo 8 Pro Max recently made its Middle Eastern debut, with Qatar being the first destination. The seven-seater SUV is expected to arrive in Malaysia but the date is not confirmed. Also, the Chery SUV will soon be made available in Chile, Brazil, and other Central & South American countries.

Variants

The upgraded Tiggo 8 Pro Max is offered in three trim levels in the Qatar market, namely Comfort, Luxury, and Flagship.

Powertrain

The new Tiggo 8 Pro Max is available in two powerplants, a 2.0-litre TGDI making a maximum power of 254 hp along with a peak torque of 390 Nm. Its fuel economy stands at 14.9 kmpl.
The drive is sent to the wheels via an electronic gearshift.

Exterior

The SUV showcases the automaker’s ‘Life in Motion 3.0’ design philosophy that is a real treat to the eyes. The key highlights on the outside include - a galaxy-inspired geometric matrix diamond front grille, satin chrome highlights, sculptured sides, aluminum alloy one-piece load bearing roof rack, 18-inch super bright aluminium alloys, dynamic flow direction indicator, and distinctive taillights. It also features a rearview mirror with memory function and LED highland low beams headlights.

Interior

On the inside, the new Chery 7-seater gets a luxe cabin loaded with several advanced features. Part of the kit is - Front intelligent bi-zone and rear independent air-con system, 6-way power-adjustable seat for the driver, 4-way adjustable seat for the front passenger, multi-colour ambient lighting, horizontally integrated dashboard, panoramic skylight, luxurious sear with dynamic tech, and more.
