KUALA LUMPUR: It seems there's no slowing Chery Malaysia down as they announce another dealership expansion, this time in Negeri Sembilan. Chery Auto Malaysia has partnered with SS Mobile Sdn Bhd to launch a new showroom and service centre, enhancing their presence in the region.

Situated at PT 10848, Jalan Desa Cempaka, Taman Desa Cempaka, 71800 Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, the new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare parts) centre spans 310 square meters. This facility offers customers a seamless experience, combining vehicle viewing, top-notch customer service, and efficient maintenance.

Visitors to the Chery Nilai showroom can explore the full range of Chery vehicles while enjoying the amenities of a comfortable customer lounge. The service centre is equipped with multiple service bays and staffed by skilled Chery technicians, ensuring all maintenance and repair needs are met to the highest standards.

“With the opening of the Chery Nilai dealership, we can now better serve our customers in Negeri Sembilan. Customers who previously had to travel from Nilai to Seremban for Chery vehicle services will now have a more convenient option,” said Soon Boon Ping, Network Director of Chery Auto Malaysia. The dealership was inaugurated alongside Dato’ Johnny Chan, Chief Operating Officer of SS Mobile Sdn Bhd.

The showroom is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, including weekends and public holidays. The service centre operates from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

With the addition of this dealership, Chery have over 30 authorized Chery Cars dealers in Malaysia across 23 cities. Chery Malaysia is currently gearing up for the launch of the Tiggo 7 Pro, their fourth SUV after the Omoda 5, Tiggo 8 Pro and Omoda E5 EV. 

The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro will go head on with Proton's venerable X70, which is due a facelift anytime now, with the launch touted to be around July. 

Performance wise, the Tiggo 7 Pro doesn't disappoint, with a new powerful 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo TGDi engine with 197 hp and 290Nm that promises exhilarating performance. This is the same engine found on the JAECOO J7, Chery's sub-premium SUV brand.

This engine is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which helps it achieves impressive acceleration, making every drive a thrilling experience.

The Tiggo 7 Pro also has independent suspension all around, engineering multi-link suspension at all four corners for better driving feel and comfort.
