Check out 2020 MG6 facelift, gets Audi like makeover

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only in August last year that MG gave its B-segment crossover, the 2020 ZS a facelift, and now the 4-door MG6 gets one too. 

Images of the 2020 MG6 made an appearance on the internet recently, and it looks like an Audi. 

On the outside, the MG6 facelift gets a new sleek pair of LED headlights, a bolder grille with a large MG badging, a sportier front bumper, new alloy wheels, tweaked rear bumper, and a bigger exhaust pipe.  

In addition, the MG fastback also comes with a plethora of optional exterior features like an accented door trim pieces, a sunroof, a rear wing, and a shark-fin antenna. In case a customer prefers a more sinister look, the fastback's front grille, window decor, and trunk lid trim can be specified in black. 

A new 1.5-liter direct-injection turbo mill dubbed as 330 TDI will power the 2020 MG6. The new unit is similar in size as the outgoing version, but it supposedly churns out 12 PS more power, i.e., 178 PS. With the new powertrain, MG6 is expected to claim a top speed of 210 kmph along with an average mileage of around 16 kmpl. 

As of now, we have no details about its launch date; however, the images show the production car fully ready. Therefore the automaker may reveal it soon.
