Audi Malaysia opens bookings for the e-tron GT & RS e-tron GT

KUALA LUMPUR: Good news for the Malaysian automotive sector as Audi has confirmed its plan to bring the 2022 World Performance Car of the Year to our land!

Yes, the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT have been revealed in the country alongside the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron. We have discussed the latter in length here, let’s now focus on Audi's performance cars, the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT.

Powertrain

Powering the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT are two motors offering all-wheel drive capabilities. The setup in the e-tron GT makes a max power of 476 hp along with a peak torque of 630 Nm. With the launch control mode on the output, figures increase to 530 hp and 640 Nm, for 2.5 seconds.

The same two-motor setup in the RS e-tron GT generates a max power of 598 hp and a peak torque of 830 Nm. With the boost mode activated, the output figure jumps to 646 hp.

Design & mechanical setup
