2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited launched in Malaysia; limited to just 600 units

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota has rolled out an all-new Yaris G Limited version of its popular hatchback to stand out in the segment and captivate car enthusiasts. Based on the Yaris G, the special model draws inspiration from the brand’s extensive history in motorsports and features styling as well as performance-oriented enhancements.

Before diving into the details of the 2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited, let’s know its pricing -

The Toyota Yaris G Limited is priced at RM 99,600.00 (on the road, without insurance), which makes it RM 8,000 dearer than the Yaris G. Notable, this fun-to-drive variant is limited to just 600 units. 

The new Yaris exudes a bold and sporty presence on the road, capturing attention at every turn. The hatchback features an aero kit with red accents for a sportier appearance and G Limited badging that highlights its exclusive status. Adding to its allure is a dual-tone colourway option, featuring a black roof, side mirrors, and spoiler.

The Yaris G Limited is equipped with performance-oriented enhancements aimed at elevating driving dynamics. These include 

• Throttle controller: It enhances the relationship between pedal input and engine output, resulting in improved engine response. 
• Shock absorbers: The stiffer shock absorbers reduce body roll, improve tyre grip and increase steering precision. It allows the driver to switch lanes with confidence.
• Cold air intake: It boosts the intake of cold, oxygen-rich air, promoting greater combustion efficiency and providing a more responsive acceleration experience.
• Chassis brace: It enhances the rigidity of the vehicle to ensure precise responsiveness according to driver input.

Under the hood of the limited-edition Yaris lies the same 2NR-FE 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine, which kicks out a maximum power of 107 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed Sport Sequential Shiftmatic transmission.

In terms of features, things remain identical as the Yaris G. Parts of the kit are - LED headlamps, LED tail lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 9.0-inch infotainment display, a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless mobile charging pad, paddle shifters. auto air-conditioning, seven airbags, a blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, hill start assist control, and the Toyota Safety Sense suite. 

Each purchase of the 2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited is accompanied by a full 5-year unlimited mileage warranty for the vehicle and 1 year/20,000km warranty for performance parts.
