Starting with under-the-hood configuration, the upgraded SUV is equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid setup carrying a 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine tuned to deliver 400 PS of maximum power and 550 Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to all four wheels via a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission allowing the SUV to run from nought to 100 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 242 kmph.
The latest version of the Range Rover Sport underpins the new Modular Longitudinal Architecture which comprises flexible mixed-metal (MLA-Flex). According to the automaker, the said platform promises up to 35% higher torsional stiffness than its predecessor. Also part of the mechanical kit is a height-adjustable Dynamic air suspension with Adaptive Dynamics.
Speaking about the exterior design, the new Range Rover Sport features sportier lower bumpers, digital LED headlights, matte graphite badges, satin burnished copper detailings, flush door handles, LED tail lights with rear-animated directional indicators, 22-inch Satin Dark Grey wheels with Brembo brakes and deployable side steps (optional). The SUV delivers a drag coefficient of 0.29 Cd.

The interior of the SUV boasts a simple horizontal dashboard with slim air vents, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a floating 13.1-inch curved central touchscreen powered by the brand’s Pivi Pro infotainment system. Also part of the kit is a 13.7-inch interactive Driver Display, electronically adjustable steering column, a head-up display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, four-zone climate control system, air quality sensor, cabin air purification pro, wireless charging, and configurable cabin lighting.
