The designers were judged by a panel of famous industry professionals.

Sagree Sardien, CEO & President of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia & Head of Region, South East Asia II said “Over the years, our MBFWKL event is an establishment of how design features as a nucleus in both fashion and the automotive world, and therefore it is only natural for us to move towards co-creating sustainability together in a creative and emotive manner. This is in line with our global commitment to go carbon neutral by 2039 as well as our commitment to fashion which spans over 20 years in the international arena. Through our ‘Sensual Purity” designs and innovative technology, we want to create an emotional experience when it comes to luxury and sustainability.``
Michael Jopp, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia said “Design is deeply rooted in our core and so is sustainability. With our newly launched EQ range and our global commitment to lead in electric, it is amazing to see how these designers drew inspiration from our EQ models and are also leading sustainable change in the fashion industry without compromising the unique emotional and sensual appeal. We also want to continue creating a platform for budding designers through our Fashion Futures initiative and to further drive sustainable change.”
Speaking about Mercedes-Benz’s Sensual Purity design philosophy, it has evolved continuously since 2009 and encompassed an essential aspect of product designs i.e. the bipolarity of intelligence and emotion. It has transformed traditional luxury into modern age interpretations while making it more fascinating, tangible, and desirable.
The German auto giant is also committed to the sustainable future of luxury design. With its fashion programmes and creative collaborations, it has supported nearly 170 designers on over 30 platforms around the world.
