2021 Nissan Navara facelift launched in Malaysia, price starts at RM 91,900
KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the official distributor of Nissan cars in Malaysia has finally pulled the wraps off the all-new Nissan Navara facelift. Offered in six variants, the new truck boasts tougher looks and a number of updates over the outgoing model. Newly added to the six-variant lineup is the Navara Pro-4X trim that was previewed last month.
The new Nissan Navara is a fully imported CBU model from Thailand. The variant-wise price list is as follows:

In terms of design, the new pickup gets a completely revamped front fascia featuring a larger interlocking grille at the front with chrome or black trimming, depending on the variant. The grille is flanked by tweaked headlights, which are equipped with halogen units or quad LED projectors and daytime running lights, as per the trim. Also new is the restyled bumper that now has a cross-shaped pattern, housing vertical fog lamps, and a large skid plate.
Moving to the rear end, where the pickup is decked up with new tail lights, a revised tailgate, and a taller bed with a step fitted into the bumper. The standout elements of the more badass-looking Navara Pro-4X include a cool, black Nissan badge with red accents, black trimming, and black 17-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres.
On the mechanical front, all the trims are powered by the ongoing 2.5 litre four-cylinder turbo diesel mill, but with different tunings. The mill under the hood of the lower two variants produces a maximum power of 163 PS at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 403 Nm at 2,000 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed manual and a 4WD system. In contrast, the higher variants’ mill paired with a seven-speed automatic, churns out 190 PS and 450 Nm.
Inside the cabin, the upgraded Navara gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, the lower trims are fitted with a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth. Depending on the variant, the interior features list comprises a seven-inch multi-info display, Nissan’s Zero Gravity-inspired semi-bucket front seats, black fabric upholstery, keyless entry and start, cruise control, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning with rear vents, and more.
The driver-assistance aids available on the VL and Pro-4X trims include features like blind spot warning, high beam assist, intelligent blind spot intervention, lane departure warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
With the purchase of the all-new Nissan Navara, the automaker is providing a five-year, 150,000-km warranty as standard.
