2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon launched in Malaysia 

KUALA LUMPUR: Jeep Malaysia has updated the fourth-gen Jeep Wrangler, it is now offered in two body styles - two-door and four-door. The former, two-door Wrangler Rubicon retails for RM 378,000, and the latter four-door version is priced at RM 388,000. The price includes sales tax exemption but excludes insurance, road tax, and registration.

The 2020 Wrangler Rubicon features a 3-piece removable hardtop arrangement finished in the main exterior hue. It continues to underpin a body-on-frame construction with five-link suspension on both front and rear axles.

What powers the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon?

The rugged Jeep sources its power from a 2.0-litre inline-four turbocharged petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 272 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox including heavy-duty locking axles and a Rock-Trac 4:1 ratio transfer case. 

What helps the Wrangler perform its off-road duties?

Jeep has tuned the Wrangler Rubicon with several features that help it do its off-roading duties with ease. For instance, there is electronic sway bar disconnect function aids, high fender flares, steel off-road rock rails, and skid plates.

What all features does this off-roader offers?

There's no doubt that the new Wrangler Rubicon is an off-roader but that does not mean that it misses out on comfort and convenience features. The list includes -

New Jeep Wrangler Rubicon production?

Like before the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also manufactured at the Jeep Toledo plant in Ohio, United States.

Also part of the deal is Jeep Care that includes a three-year, 100,000 km warranty and a 3-year, 60,000 km free maintenance package.
