2020 Jaguar F-Pace limited edition launched in Malaysia, price starts at RM 436,420
KUALA LUMPUR: After two years of the local debut of F-Pace, Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia brings an all-new version of the performance SUV. Dubbed as “limited edition F-Pace”, the model features a new state-of-the-art 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium petrol engine that incorporates advanced technology and aluminium construction, balancing impressive power and strong fuel economy.
Mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, the updated powertrain generates 300 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500 rpm. It reaches 100 kmph in only 6.1 seconds and peaks at a top speed of 233 kmph. In contrast, the standard F-Pace has a power output of 246 hp and 365 Nm, while its century sprint time is 6.8 seconds.
With only 20 units available for sale, this limited edition Jaguar F-Pace is available in three variants - Prestige, R-Sport Mid-spec, and R-Sport Hi-spec. These are feature-packed with a range of systems enhancing the driving experience, including gesture tailgate, 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, lane keep assist, and driver condition monitor.
Besides these, the F-Pace Prestige variant features LED headlights, 20-inch 5 split-spoke ‘Style 5031’ with Grey Diamond finish alloy wheels, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, power reclining rear seat, rear seat remote release levers and tyre pressure monitoring system.
Additional features available in mid-spec R-Sport include the adaptive LED headlights and signature DRLs, auto high beam assist, ambient interior lighting, and gloss black roof rails. At the same time, the F-Pace R-Sport top-spec model comes with the adaptive surface response that recognizes surface differences and adjusts engine and brake settings accordingly. It rides on 22-inch wheels that enhance the powerful wheel-to-body ratio of the SUV.
Like the standard variant, the powered-up F-Pace is also equipped with the Configurable Dynamics and Adaptive Dynamics systems. The former is available in R-Sport trims, allowing the driver to choose Normal or Sports modes for the gearbox, throttle, and steering response. In contrast, the latter is only available on the top-spec F-Pace, which modifies the dampers’ response according to road conditions and driving styles.
All the three variants have six colour options comprising Fuji White, Santorini Black, Portofino Blue, Eiger Grey, Firenze Red, and Indus Silver. The limited-edition Jaguar F-Pace price starts at RM 436,420 (excluding road tax and insurance and including 50% SST exemption). It is now available for a test drive at Jaguar Land Rover showrooms.
